DESIGN PORTFOLIO
Welcome to my design portfolio, where I share creative projects beyond tattooing. Here you’ll find branding, logo design, illustration, and visual work I’ve created for university briefs and personal projects. From horror-inspired work to concepts for small businesses.
Horror-Themed Logo Design
Lurking Fear is a growing horror brand that shares all things creepy and scream-worthy, from deep-cut horror movie facts to behind-the-scenes details most fans miss. They're building a spooky corner of the internet for horror lovers, with plans to expand their content and identity even further.
For this temporary logo, I wanted to keep the horror theme alive without falling into the usual tropes like dripping blood or distressed textures. Instead, I went for a bold 3D typographic style with a glowing neon green palette, something that feels cinematic, eerie, and clean. It makes a statement without being overdone. This is the first stage of a full brand evolution, which will eventually include a custom made horror font and expanded visual identity.
Sandwich Shop Logo Design
This project gave me the chance to explore food branding in a fun and thoughtful way, and it’s a direction I’d love to keep developing, from logos to wider brand designs for local and independent businesses.
This logo was created as part of a university brief focused on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield. While it wasn’t a commissioned piece, I chose Woody’s Sandwich Shop as my subject to explore how their brand identity could be refreshed while keeping the warm, familiar feel of a long-standing local favourite.
The concept was inspired by a wooden chopping board, a simple, homely visual that reflects the handmade nature of the food they serve. I stayed close to the business’s original warm colour palette to maintain a welcoming and approachable tone. The layout was designed to resemble traditional shop signage, suitable across menus, shopfronts, and takeaway packaging.
Dessert Logo Design
This logo was created as part of a university project focused on independent businesses along Ecclesall Road in Sheffield. Although Crepes & Cakes is no longer open, I wanted to explore how a dessert café could be visually rebranded in a way that feels fresh and appealing to a younger audience. This project allowed me to experiment with dessert café branding that’s bright and colourful.
The background colour was chosen to reflect the soft tones of cake batter or crepes, tying directly into the name. I used a pastel colour palette inspired by colourful icing, with sparkles to represent sprinkles and add a light, cheerful touch. The glossy effect on the main font was also influenced by the look of icing, helping to reinforce the dessert theme.
Nail Shop Logo Design
This was a fun project to experiment with beauty branding and imagine how a glamorous look could stand out. This logo was created as part of a university branding brief focused on independent businesses along Ecclesall Road in Sheffield. I chose Crystal Nails as my concept brand to explore how a nail bar could bring a touch of luxury to its look.
I created two versions of the logo, one on a soft cream background to keep things light and modern, and another on black for that full glam effect. The diamond icon speaks for itself, and the glossy gold lettering was inspired by high-shine gel finishes and a salon glow. I wanted the brand to feel premium but still welcoming.
